With two days until Dwarfism Awareness Month it got me thinking about how lucky I have been to get involved with the Little People of America organization. I went to my first big LPA event in 2001 in Toronto Ontario and have been going to most of the National Conferences since then. It has given me the opportunity to see some pretty cool landmarks over the years including the Golden Gate Bridge, Grand Ol Opry, Space Needle, CN Tower, World Trade Center Site, Statue of Liberty, the White House and Washington Monuments, Museum of Natural History, and a number of Major League Baseball Games. I look forward to many more LPA conferences in the years to come!
