With your little effort God can do a lot more Matthew - TopicsExpress

With your little effort God can do a lot more Matthew 13:31-32 Another parable He put forth to them saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, “which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.” Jesus said ask and you shall receive and that teaches us though God is All powerful and nothing is too hard for him he will never violate our precious gift he gave us freely which is free will. And sometimes with him it does not take greater efforts to do great things look at Gideon he longed for the salvation of his people and I am sure he prayed about the oppression of his people to God and through his yearning God send his Angel to equip him to defeat their enemies and while he was recruiting men of war God told him the number he had originally was way too big and by just three hundred men God defeated multitudes and they had to blow trumpets for God to act on their behalf. If that was a minimal effort I do not know what it is, just think about it you and your friends you fight thousands by just blowing trumpets God defeats your foes for you for the battle is not yours but God’s. Hence in today’s title the Holy Ghost says with your little effort like the farmer great things can happen for God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all you can ask, think or imagine by the power that works inside of you but you must do something first than God will do more through your something no matter how small it might be. Even in grace if you do not make some action no matter how small it might be God cannot do something big for you like in the time Jesus asked his disciples to feed multitude which they did not understand but by giving him a handful of bread and fishes thousands supernaturally ate until they were satisfied for faith is completed through actions. Thus today the Holy Ghost is challenging you to do something by faith and watch God in time grow it to be bigger like the tree born out of a mustard seed mentioned in today’s scripture for God likes to take the despicable things of the world to shame the wise with it for his foolishness is wiser than men, and his weakness is strong than man hence he said, “who has despised the day of small beginnings” for though your beginning where small your latter end will increase abundantly like the tree born out of a mustard seed which eventually become a great blessing to others. He who has ears let him hear says the Spirit of the Most Highest God.
