Witnessed a serious accident in Spalding County this morning on Hwy 19, at the Airport Rd light. It shook me to the core. I was about a car length behind a minivan when a car ran a red light and nailed the minivan. After spinning the minivan in a complete circle, the car went off the embankment and was pinned in-between two trees. It was only by the Grace of God that nobody was killed! I, of course, stopped and helped all I could but the sight of the little girl from the van, who was only about 6 or 7 is etched on my eyelids.. She was trembling in shock and had a haunted expression on her face. The woman who ran the light was only interested in her dog! I will never understand some people!!
