I ws able 2 disect d fact dat It is unlawful & unconstitutional 4d NIgeria police to arrest or imprison an innocent party who knw noti abt a crime simply bcs d party who committed d unlawful act has escaped as such d innocent party has 2b arrested simply bcs he/she is he /her relation or he/she is close 2him or her in one way or d oda dat he/she can only b released pendi wen d culprit returns or is re-arrested knwifuly wel dat such innocent party cannot b prosecuted by any court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria 4d sin (unlawful act) of anoda party no mata d proximity btw dem hvi regard 2d fact dat such unlawful arrest or imprisonmnt cud amount to false imprisonmnt in d eyes of d law under law of tort derby entitling d innocent party 2 obtain heavy compensations against d Nig police force in any court of competent jurisdiction in Nig.
