Woh what a year we had at our 2014 Paarl Boxingday cycling event. First on behalf of the Paarl Cycling Club i would like to thank everybody who came to watch this awesome event for the umpteen years. I am really really sorry, we apologize unreservedly to all the fans and loyal supporters that we not be-able for the first time in history could not give the results of the most important race of the day namely the 25 Mile. We as Paarl Cycling club unfortunately cannot be blamed for the decision the Commissar made on the day by with holding the results due to a video cameras battery that gone flat( Too fantastic to be ridiculous anyway as Officially those people with those cameras never shouldv been allowed on the inside of the track anyway, and they were not hired by the Officials to record the event to now turn around to tell us the video camera footage will be the deciding factor at such an prestige even, also to fantastic to be ridiculous. Those Facebook people that have not attended the event, and even those that did just for the record no results was given so we have no winner for the 2014 event yet. It was the saddest day in the history of our event due to the fact that after all the meetings the Commissar had we had to tell the crowd that the decision will be based on unofficial video footage. So once again our humble apologies to our loyal supporters year n and year out to be exposed to such an Unprofessional deplorable circumstance. Here is the story, the reason why the decision could not be given as after the pic which shows the back of the silver car an incident took place between Nolan Hoffman And Evan Carstens (Yellow Shoes).... Now look at the home straight at the rider in front, when these riders got lapped they shouldve been told not be be part of the 25 mile anymore like they did in previous races as with other Commissars .... Now look at the people on the side in that same picture thats where the Commissar stood blue and kaki shorts. So how on earth will the footage reveal anything different as look at the people in the home straight contesting the sprint. But lets wait and see, but it is gonna be an interesting decision, thats for sure.
