Woke up after a wild night (weather-wise, that is!) and noticed that I could see the house over the road. Thought no more of it until John commented on it too. The roof on the old outbuilding immediately behind us had collapsed in on itself. This means we now overlook our neighbours and they overlook us - will have to get bedroom curtains up - urgently!!! Shame about the building though - covered in Russian vine and the trees growing up inside it were holding it up. Our woodpile was the only thing holding the back wall up and that has been pushed out towards our garden. The birds are somewhat puzzled as they used it a lot. Wish it was ours - I would rebuild it.
