Woke up at 4am today to have a pep talk with Baby Ira about starting a new life as an adopted puppy. We drove together (with her foster siblings in the car as well to say goodbye) to Lynchburg where some very energetic and amazing Friends of Campbell County Animal Control members (the head cheeses that make things happen) took Ira with some other rescues to transport. Its never easy saying goodbye to a foster but rewarding to work along side a great rescue group. Best of luck Ira ....missing that Doberman face already
