Woke up to the promise of sunshine and happy thoughts. Today, this weekend for that matter, the big project will be repairing the pvc chicken tractor, finally. Hubby has agree to assist in the big project. Weather permitting I will spend the rest of the weekend time raking and gathering rocks from the lower section of the veg garden. I promise no to work too hard, I am learning my limits. Speaking of learning limits. Hubby is concerned that I will over do it and actually suggested that I forgo the veg garden this year. I disagree. I dont want to give in to this disease by sitting around, that would seem more like giving up to me. As much as he is concerned that I may over do it, as much as he wants me to just rest and heal. I need to stay normal, I need to keep my life as normal as possible. Besides the hardest part of gardening is mostly the planting. Pulling weeds and harvesting are not that hard, physically. So what if it takes me a day to hoe out a row, I have time. I promise to keep the crops simple this year too. Just corn, taters, onion, tomato, peppers, pumpkin, sunflowers and goose neck gourds, well and flowers of course, and some herbs. LOL who am I kidding, I will fill every inch of that vegetable garden bed. Hey make a great day!!! Blessed be )0(
