Wolf Mountain - heres our gps track. This is not a trail, it is a route. It is steep in places and bushy in places. Occasionally these are the same places. At about 4000 ft (1220m) theres a rightward traverse across a rock slab with exposure. Our track shows a wee spike there while we were looking for the bit of old rope marking that spot. It took us over 12 hours return, including 50 minutes on top. The route starts aat the top of the Crest Creek Crags climbing area, above the bluff called Top of the World. Go to the top trail on the Gold River side of Crest Creek.
