Wolf leaders: If you are working on Elective 10-Indian Lore, include Elective 22 a&b by teaching your den how to count to 10 in the Menominee Indian language! (Posoh means hello!) Teaching children our native languages is incredibly important, they are endangered and literally dying out as the only native speakers are growing older and older. Plus these languages sound completely different from any other languages you have heard! The Menominee lived in Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan, their name means wild rice people in Ojibwe because it was one of their staple foods.
