Wollongong Police are pleased to advise that as a result of some very positive information resulting from recent Wollongong Police FaceBook posts and reports there has been some very positive feedback received.This information has included details on a male and female being investigated for the stealing of groceries from Woolworths in Fairy Meadow on 22/7/14 and also information on a male person being investigated for the stealing of a bicycle from behind the IPAC in Wollongong on 3/8/14. Investigations and inquiries are still continuing on these matters. Further to this Police are happy to advise that a male person has presented himself to Police in relation to the malicious damage (graffiti) of a wall outside Hogs Breath Cafe in Woonona on 16/8/14. Legal action is now pending regarding this offence. Finally we are very happy to report that a school boy has been reunited with his stolen Giant brand mountain bike that was stolen on 25/8/14 in the Russell Vale area. It appears that after a post depicting an image of the stolen bike that it became too hot to handle for the offender and it was dumped in the Bulli area.
