Woman Arrested for Grand Theft When asked why she came to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, she told the detective that she wanted us to locate her brother. She also stated that she knew he was on vacation in Tennessee at the time – but wanted us to find him anyway. When asked why she visited the Pasco County Jail, she stated that she went to visit her son who is incarcerated there. She was not granted a visit. Melissa Ann Ryan W/F DOB/10-23-1973 was arrested, charged with Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft. Her bond was set at $2,000. Ryan remains in the Hernando County Detention Center.
