Women in Islam is quite the wrongly perceived thing in todays soceity. Islam/the seal of the Prophets, Mohammed (pbuh) cam at a time where Islam was in great need. There was racism, classism, genderism..lol real talk. The men would bury their babies once they discovered they were female, this is actual historical fact..and you thought the China folks were ILL for their baby limits..The Prophet just like Isa/Jesus (pbuh) came to wake the people up! and to remind the old heads that they had twisted the word of God to their liking to take advantage of the "ignorance of the masses" Women were being buried at birth and miss-treated. Islam brought knowledge, education, and socialism to a society in desperate need. women were given rights and put in position(s) of power in early Islam. Officials, professionals, inventors..to be taken seriously. You ask whats with the polygamy, me response a Wife is a whOOle lot better than mistress. It actually makes better Men and make him own up to his woman/women.
