Wonderful Spark Love David I wanted to pass on a spark that really made me feel wonderful and it wouldnt have happened if I hadnt found this page. I was waiting outside a doctors office for a friend to finish her visit. I had just bought a bag of food from a convenient store as I knew it would be a long wait. I spotted an elder man sitting on the edge of the sidewalk, looking down and kind of ragged. He just staring at me and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Eventually he wandered over and politely asked if I had some water. I took one look at him and saw the hard years on his face and felt the spark come over me. I told him I had water and then some. I gave him my snacks, invited him to sit with me while he wait to escape the extreme heat we were experiencing. My friend came out from the doctors office and he tried to leave. I stopped him and asked if he had somewhere to go though I already kind of knew he didnt. After he said no we took him to a motel. I told him it wasnt much but it was what I could afford. He was grateful. Then, the story gets amazing. As we walked in a man from my church was walking out. We stopped and talked and he got the whole story about the stranger. Long story cut short before we got the stranger checked in he had more money In his pocket than he knew what to do with, a prepaid debit card for food and the room rented for the whole week. He started to cry, which caused me to cry. Then he asked for one more thing. He wanted to pray to God for sending me his way. I have never felt such emotions as I did that day. It was the most powerful feeling in my chest. I hope this story inspires others to spark. God bless!
