Wonderful educational video. I do not think CrushTheStreet is the solution. But they have pointed out a very important problem that needs to be fixed. Question: What happens when the educational system is NOT based on free market? Answer: They can set their prices to anything they want. Over many decades, the federal government in its desire to help more people to get a college degree, has made it relatively easy to get a student loan (funds guaranteed by the government). This easy money has caused colleges and universities, both public and private, to raise their prices continually. Higher education institutions have become super rich and can afford to build luxurious campuses, theaters, stadiums, and can have MULTI-MILLION dollar sports and extracurricular programs that have nothing to do with the core education. This video suggests that an education does not need cost thousands of dollars. Monopoly of anything is a bad thing. History has proven over and over that free market (with government monitoring and management) is the solution.
