Friday, August 30 (5:00 p.m.) 1. Last day to drop a class with 50% refund and grade of “W” (requires advisor signature). 2. Last day to add a class (requires instructor and advisor signature). Friday, November 8 (5:00 p.m.) Last day to drop a class with automatic grade of “W” (requires advisor signature). Short Courses, Internet Courses, Outreach Courses Please note that short courses (courses that are offered in a condensed format that do not extend through the entire 16-week semester), some internet courses, and outreach courses have their own distinct drop/add dates which are listed online: registrar.okstate.edu/images/SIO/2013fallshortcourses.pdf How to Drop a Class You can drop and add most classes online via SIS, but you must do so before midnight on Monday, August 26. After that date, bring a completed drop/add card with your advisor’s signature to either the Office of the Registrar (322 Student Union) on the Stillwater campus or Enrollment Services (1st floor Administration Building) on the Tulsa campus. Please note that the following special circumstances will prevent students from dropping or adding classes online: 1. Registration hold (e.g., Bursar hold) 2. Special permission required for course enrollment 3. Short courses 4. Enrollment for outreach courses with a section number that begins with a 6 (ex: ENGR-4213-603) must be completed through the appropriate college outreach office
