Wondering @ etiquette, specifically public dining manners. I eat out a good bit & observe people eating like animals at the trough. At a nice restaurant today I saw a man pick up a 3 piece of meat & laboriously gnaw it off his fork. Ive seen ppl stick their tongues out to rake a utensil across it, ppl spitting ice back into their drink, ppl running their fingers across the plate to gather sauce & then of course licking their fingers, & so on. I have been known to devour my meals w gusto & am GUILTY of ALL of this at HOME, but if you take me out in public I wont lick my plate I promise. Just wanting to vent. I cant get the image of the gnawing guy out of my head. Pls comment. Am I too persnickety?
