Wondering if Im the only one who does these things? I brake for animals, kids, and little old ladies. I will stand up for someone or something, even at risk to myself. I believe that if you are not a part of the solution, you are part of the problem. And I believe that if you dont do something to help someone or something in need, I hate to see anything suffering, you are just as guilty as the perpetrator. Im sure the Circleville Police Department got a big laugh out of me tonight. I came home on N. Court St. and Im at the cemetery and someone brakes hard in front of me and swerves. There walking down the middle of the road is a goose with a broken wing! I tried honking to get him off the road, but he was obviously hurt. Now I know some of you may have just ran him over or went around, but my mind didnt want man or animal to get in a wreck. So I pulled over on a side street, got out of my car, and tried to chase the damn bird off the road, all while I called CVPD who are probably still laughing their asses off. The goose finally got off the road, went to the sidewalk, and I think he headed into the cemetery...literally. So, if you didnt know how big a softie I was before, now you know. And yes, I probably wouldve picked him up and called my vet if I couldve. Hope this was a laugh for you all and a reminder, we all deserve kindness and a helping hand every once in a while. 😊
