Why not just be respectful and if you think Chris Kyle is the worst person ever... take the high road! Explain (without name calling) why you feel the need to call him out. Honestly I have no problem with anyone disagreeing with his book, career after his service, or supporting Jesse Venturas side of the story. Jesse has a right to go to court, you have right to your opinion, and no one is forcing you to give two shits about Chris Kyle. But just keep in mind... Chris Kyle didnt choose Iraq, our government chose Iraq. Chris Kyle didnt tell us we would be greeted as liberators. Chris Kyle didnt promise it would only be 6 months. Chris Kyle didnt produce bad evidence of WMDs. Chris Kyle didnt hand out no bid contracts. Chris Kyle didnt spend money we didnt have. Chris Kyle didnt take the focus off Afghanistan. Chris Kyle didnt even set the rules of engagement. Our Government Did. I did not support the Iraq war and I do understand why even non fundamentalist civilians there would fight back against our military. I would do the same thing if I were them and so would Chris Kyle. All of that said, stop telling me I look at Chris Kyle as a God when it is those of you attacking him that want to hold him up to that standard. He was a man, a human in flesh, in need of salvation, a sinner, flawed and imperfect, a lover, a hater, a friend, an enemy, a mothers baby and fathers child. Just like all the rest of us. He was also a daddy, a husband, a son, and a friend to returning veterans with PTSD. Women wear heels and makeup, us guys hide any feelings that might be seen as weakness. Just because youve heard Chris Kyle say something that sounded cruel doesnt mean thats what he was really feeling or that what is written in the book is 100% his words. Cut the guy some slack and let him Rest In Peace.
