Wooow we have survived :)) You know on such a day you feel simply lucky and blessed to have a shower :)) It was a tough Monday, I must say.. You, guys, probably dont know (however how might you know, if you haven’t worked in this field) how sometimes challenging can be work in the consulate department.. I was in a hurry to get to my work on time, being still slightly sleepy, nothing forecast ed any troubles.. when suddenly I saw them on the horizon, they were everywhere near our consulate department: near the entrance doors, in the street, inside the building, on the steps.. I rushed to the door, and i felt, that I could,t move further, cause I was caught by one of them and heard him yell at me with not that much pleasant voice: Hey you, where are you going??!!! Theres a QUEUE, dont you see it, You are the last one to go. What a charming greeting - I thought - Good Morning :) Actually I work here, and if you dont let me in, it would be very difficult for me to issue you any visas at all :))) No, I mean, like really, today I felt John Snow, protecting the Wall... Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honour to the Nights Watch, for this night and all the nights to come. When I say these words, I just simply state the fact, that today both of us (Me and my charming Marry) didnt have any lunch break :) , I was just grateful to my colleague, who had forgotten the day before some sandwiches at work :)) And only once I was able to go to the toilet and drink a glass of water - you wont believe it, for so it was - simply no time.. (Another reason why I didnt pick up the phone:)) Actually I am really sorry for poor people, who were standing there for 3 days.. in the cold... I dont even know how would we manage today without you, my dear Ladies :)) Thank you for your help :)) And I hope to see us together again not only at the work place, but we should also remind someone his promise to take us to dinner :)) or at least pull a pint together:)) and Maria, I must confess you are such a present, given to me (and consulate department) from Heaven :)) But you know what I am happy about ? Today I felt that we were doing something good for people, however difficult or not it might have been, I thought really - together we have finished it today :)) (fingers crossed:)) so that people wouldn’t wait at night ...
