Word For Today ~ YOU ARE LITTLE Psalm 31:15, “My times are - TopicsExpress

Word For Today ~ YOU ARE LITTLE Psalm 31:15, “My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.” I recently read a story by Bill Yount. When he was in South Carolina for a meeting, a four year old boy walked up to him and said, YOU ARE LITTLE.” What the boy said surprised Bill because the four year old boy was only about 2 ½ feet tall. But what he said made Bill think. Hopefully, it is also making you think. God wants you to look at the problems that you think are giants, mountains or raging seas and say to them, YOU ARE LITTLE. They are little compared to the God that dwells on the inside of you. Though giants, mountains, or raging seas may rise up against you, know that greater is He that is on the inside of you than he that is in the world. When Peter walked on the water on the Sea of Galilee, he began to sink when he took his eyes off of Jesus. Many people focus on him sinking instead of him walking on water. But remember, Peter got out of the boat and walked on the raging sea, while the other eleven sat in the boat watching. The raging sea paralyzed the eleven. Fear took control of them. They missed out on the opportunity of a lifetime. When you face your giants, mountains, or raging seas, know that God is setting the stage for something greater. Be encouraged. God is not through writing your story. Bishop D.
