Word Of Exhaltation God Is Light 1 John 1:5-7, This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is on the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. God is all light. There is no trace of darkness in Him. Bible says, The Lord is righteous in all His ways and Holy in all is works. (See Ps. 145:17) We must therefore understand that there is no evil at all in God. No matter the form or the shape, evil does not dwell with God. If we say, we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. Bible says, if we say we are in the light and hate our brother, we are in darkness. If we dont abhor hatred, envy, stealing, unforgiveness and works of evil, we are in darkness. We cannot have fellowship with God, when we are holding on to works of darkness. Many of us go to church or prayer meetings, holding on to hatred or unforgiveness or envy etc. it does not work. David said, if he hid any sin in his heart God will not hear him. [Psalms Chapter 66 Verse 18] When our minds are filled with evil thoughts and conversations are corrupt, and our desires are all works of the flesh, we cannot claim we have fellowship with the light. We lie, and do not the truth. The truth was used in place of light. Which means that the truth is light. When we walk in the truth, we are walking in the light. If we allow the truth to guide us in everything we do, we walk in the light and we remain in the light. We cannot have fellowship with the Light or God, if we have fellowship with unfruitful works of darkness. We have been in darkness for far too long. We must therefore give up all works of darkness and have fellowship with the light. God richly bless you. Share with others.
