Word to the wise regarding racism! First allow me to share a quote or two. Laundry is the only thing that should be separated by color. Racial superiority is a mere pigment of the imagination! If you claim to be a Christian and you are a racist then please do everyone a favor, quit calling yourself a follower of Christ! I am being serious here, stop claiming to love the Lord when you cant even love who He created. Where in the Scriptures does the Lord say for the black man to hate the white man or for the white man to hate the black? Where does it say in either the Old or the New Testaments to talk down to anyone whose skin color is different from yours? Racism is not a fruit of the Spirit. Racism is not mentioned as a spiritual gift either. And I can assure you it will not be a player in Heaven. Sure, are there people who are negative and or critical about people of color? Yes! Are there red, yellow, black, brown and white individuals who are an embarrassment to their peers? Most definitely! Even so, you and I have the opportunity to be respectful of all races, In fact, it really shouldnt be that difficult to love on others regardless of their skin color. And if this post just made you mad then it probably was meant for you. You got it, do you honestly expect Jesus Christ to applaud racism? Of course not, absolutely no way Jesus would for a moment embrace racism. I have a loving suggestion, drop to your knees and ask the Lord to take away your prejudices, your racist spirit. Ask God to heal your heart and to fill it with a love for all no matter the color of their skin! As always, love you guys!! :))
