Words are not enough to express my gratitude for last evening and the remarkable display of support and community. First and foremost- my husband Joe, who has put up with my ideas for events for over 30 years and who worked diligently on registration for over 2 hrs, and the Vinyasa in the Vineyard accountant; our family; Cara and Andrew Sawyer, owners of Preston Ridge Vineyard, who 2 years ago became interested in co- creating a foundation to this inspired dream of community; the musicians- Eagle Feather, Beaver Bob, Singing Willow, Don and of course Black Wolf; our instructors, Helen Ouimette, Jennifer Reilly, Linda Gawronski; Tricia Lewon who assisted with those on the field; Pamela Mish and Michelle Jordan from Refresh Your Soul Day Spa (provided clinical information and free 5 minute chair massages), Ann Richardson- friend, registration assistant and runner of all things- all present at the event, all volunteers who gave their time freely and with compassion; Chris Eder (MYT) who designed the flyers and FB page for this event; Gail and Jim McCloud for the tent we used at the registration table and for individuals who needed a space to rest in shade; the amazing practitioners, our community, who came to participate at this event, show their support to our soldiers who give more than we could ever conceive; the lovely fellow Kripalu instructor from Lyme, who had I known was an instructor would have solicited her involvement (next year!); Dave and MaryAlice Hughes, family, who came to give heartfelt support to me, the veterans; the on- line donors who learned of MYT from our event- Katie H., Ben A., to name a few; the studios/organizations who showed their support in this effort: Carol Klammer and her personal efforts and AHHC, Pam Mish and Refresh Your Soul Day Spa, A Peace of Space, Get Bent, Scared Rivers of Glastonbury, Newington Yoga Center, CenteredBeing Studios in Lorton, VA (Suzie), the Norwich Recreation Department, Rose City Senior Center, Summit Fitness, BNI, Silas from Concerts Unlimited, Bozrah, CT. and the Hospitell for posting the event; and Tina Corron, who gave an amazing photograph for a future event, in addition to a financial contribution! Wow! What a great community, nationwide. I am humbled, you all are spirits of hope, compassion and honor! Jai Bhagwan
