Words cannot express the overwhelming gratitude for all of the words of support and prayers yesterday. Ive learned so much about Ayofemi from so many people I met yesterday, as well as the e-mails and new friends (friends of my sister) on Facebook. As of right now, were planning a small informal memorial on Friday (were going to look at different beaches today), and a much larger, more formal memorial for my sister at some point in the future, so that we have more time to contact most if not all of her friends.... There are those who question my use of social media - if it wasnt for social media, I would not have found my sister. Through social media over the last few days, the outpouring of condolences, stories and tidbits that Ive learned about my sister have been tremendous. (Im having lunch with one of my sisters former students while Im here)....so my apologies to those who may question my time on Facebook, but please know that the positives far outweigh the negatives. Again, my family thanks you all so very much for all the love and support weve received. ❤️😊❤️😊
