Words cant express my happy heart today as I spent time with my best friend from 6th grade, whom I had not seen in well over 20 years! The saying is true: you cant schedule quality time, you just schedule time and quality happens. We caught up as much as we could on a 5 mile hike at Raven Rock. It was surreal to see our offspring chatting and playing like they have known each other all their young lives. Gretchen and I took separate paths at crucial times in our lives, but today was as if time had stood still and we picked up where we left off so many years ago.
