Words for the day: Wait on the Lord, waiting on the Lord. I have been dealing with rebuilding Kris Hytons 1967 International P/U-what a nightmare! Anyway, I was replacing the pass-side rear brakes, a salvaged drum, replaced the drum-the hub was in good shape. I go to put on the brake drum on and it wont go-Hmmm. So I pull the inner bearing back out and it doesnt fit the axle. WHAT! At this point Im tearing me hair out. First thought was bad bearing-NOT. I did find that my caliper is out of wack-not mee-thank God. So, as I was chatting with Jesus, who happens to be at my side most of the time, I asked Him what the heck the problem was. Like pages in a book my brain begans to unfold-with His help with the problem and solution. Waiting on the Lord, He will always give you the right answer if you allow yourself to pause and listen. I had backed up a little in history to find out that when I was knocking out the wheel studs and putting them into the new drum, when I would set one stud another would loosen. FLASH the drum is warped. So, I put the old one on and bingo-it works. Thank you Lord for helping me with this situation. Wait on the Lord He will answer you. Peace.
