Words from my very wise friend Casey Nichols Chappell, in reference to her adopted little girl from the Congo and redemption and Easter...This girl has all we have! They (other orphans) have nothing. And the only difference between her and them are families who will take a risk and love radically and sacrificially and do whatever it takes, even if that means waiting and fighting and writing and fundraising and praying that our families will one day resemble more of what heaven will look like and that the economy of this world will resemble more of Kingdom economy where the least is the greatest and the last shall be first and what is done towards the least of these is done to Him!! Good Friday existed because our world is broken but friends because of Easter we have been redeemed, chosen and adopted out of our orphan status and may we live to redeem, chose and adopt others so they might live and know Him!!
