Worked in the yard today. Raked the crab apples that had fallen off the tree. Then, I thought if I shook the tree, I could get the crab apples that had not yet fallen. Simple cause and effect lesson here. If you stand under a tree and shake it, things will fall and hit you on the head. I got clobbered with dozens of crab apples. There is good news, though. It knocked some sense into me. Hope I remember this lesson next fall.
