Working closely with the National Society of Black Engineers, CH2M HILL helped organize an exciting Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK) program in Denver for a second summer, along with the Denver Mayor’s Office (Michael B. Hancock) and his @DenverChildrensAffairs, Denver Public Schools, and other business, foundation and higher education entities. The wonders of engineering were opened to 300 kids in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade who worked with college students and engineers to build hands-on projects, give presentations and test their projects. SEEK benefits the kids, the college mentors who gain leadership skills and exposure to the working world, and businesses and others looking to grow a pool of engineering students and employees.
