Working in collaboration If I could offer one great piece of advice it would be to work in collaboration with other locals businesses- sharing the work load where possible, plus offering jobs their way when you are too busy. I do this in both of my businesses and find it has a positive result for both parties. One thing I ask though is how do you feel when a company/business that does not have the small business/local ethos potentially taking much of your trade and not willing to work in collaboration...I ask as this has happened to several of my friends (one which now has to think about the direction of her business) and it would be good to give some advice to bring them back to a more positive mindset.
