Working on your off season kit? Me too! Here is a post I stole so you can eat at your next event. The dollar store, goodwill or home improvement store or garage sales can be your friend. If you need some quick and easy plates, bowls, cups, wooden spoons etc. Check your local dollar store. You can be kitted up with minimal cost. You can also find small bottles appropriate for holding things like oil, honey, spices, etc. Here are a few things Ive been able to find. Also check the seasonal sections...the planter dishes work great as plates and they look very close to originals. Once you wash your pottery or wooden items, you can give them a quick coat of olive oil to keep them in good shape. Mineral oil also works, especially on the terra cotta stuff.
