Working quietly in public interest. Must be appreciated. I went to my native place, Jagadhri. Since I recently joined National eGovernance, in Ministry of Information and Technology, suo moto, I went to get the true feedback from the public. Only two comments, I am posting: 1. पहले पूरा दिन खराब होता था, अब समय ले कर आते है, बहुत जल्दी काम हो जाता है. 2. पहले बैठने की भी व्यवस्था नहीं थी, अब AC Hall है, बैठने के लिए कुर्सियें है. Then I met Mr Ramesh Gupta, Technical Director of NIC, who created eDisha centre, at Yamuna Nagar, which is self sustaining because of rent from bank & interest on security deposits from the vendors. Govt is NOT paying even a single penny to maintain the centre which provides 36 services to the public on a single window. Almost no waiting. This officer has big plans in his mind. Quietly working behind the scenes. My sincere regards to Mr Gupta.
