World Series Update: Hamilton, NJ falls to Germantown, KY 7-5 Hamilton, NJ lost despite Kaylee Whittakers spectacular day from both the mound and the plate. Whittaker racked up two RBIs on one hit for Hamilton, NJ. She tripled in the fifth inning. Germantown, KY couldnt get anything going as long as Whittaker was on the rubber. Germantown, KY managed just one hit off of Whittaker, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out none during her three innings of work. Germantown, KY held off Hamilton, NJ, as Hamilton, NJ was unable to overcome a five-run fifth inning deficit. Hamilton, NJ scored three runs in the fifth on a two-run single by Alexa Haley and an RBI triple by Whittaker. Despite its efforts, Hamilton, NJ couldnt finish the comeback. Jaelyn Sanders shut down Hamilton, NJ while she was in the circle. Hamilton, NJ managed just one hit off of the Germantown, KYs pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out five during her four innings of work. Hamilton, NJ jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Nicole Cerasi singled to ignite Hamilton, NJs offense. A stolen base then moved Cerasi from first to second. The scoreboard lit up again for Hamilton, NJ when Haley scored on a groundout by Haley Lestician.
