Prof Dr. Taj Mohammad Lashari, Chairman, Department of Media Studies, presided over the event. Dr. Lashari said public opinion is an instrument in national policymaking. The developments which take places in the society must be communicated to the people. Information is a power and brings awareness among the various segments of the society. He added that the cyber age has made the information very fast because, world is a global village and there has been fast growth in social media on account of Information Communication Technology. Ahmed Ali Memon, Sahib Khan Shaikh, Dastar Ali Chandio, Shakeel Ahmed Ghumro and others also spoke.
