World population Day was celebrated by CSR of JSPLs Raigarh unit and several awareness programs were undertaken in more than 30 villages surrounding Raigarh. The theme of this years population day was Invest in young people today, to ensure a bright future. Various leaflets and pamphlets were distributed through a awareness van which was flagged off by the officials from JSPL and was made to move through all the villages spreading awareness on population control. Skit plays were conducted and condoms distributed and sensitization programs were conducted on importance of family planning, birth spacing, use of contraceptives, ill effects of early marriage etc.
