World-renowned guitarist Albert Lee will perform an intimate eclectic show Jan. 10 at the Grant R. Brimhall Library in Thousand Oaks as part of the Live at the Library series. Nancy Schram, interim library services director in Thousand Oaks, said the idea for the series began several years ago, thanks to Steve Brogden, the recently retired library director. We thought it was a great way to bring people to the library, Schram said. The series is sponsored by the Thousand Oaks Library Foundation, which receives donations to support special collections, including the American Radio Archives. Brogden saw Calabasas resident Lee at a nearby Ventura concert and asked him to perform at the library.
