Worlds Best Cornbread. I shared with Grit mag 2 eggs. 2 cups buttermilk 2 cups fine/ medium cornmeal. White/ yellow 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon of butter. Heat oven to 350°f lightly butter cast iron skillet set aside. Break eggs in bowl mix well & whisk in buttermilk. Cornmeal. Baking soda & salt. Pour in skillet. Place in oven. Bake until breadis firm in middle about 45mins. Turn on to rack let cool to touch. Enjoy. It was very good and moist like cake.
