Worrying Over Our Past The devil calls us by our sins,while our heavenly father calls us by our NAME.One thing about worry is that it makes us believe that there is impending trouble or problems even when there is none.The other thing about worry is that it changes absolutely nothing.Worrying over our past sins and mistakes does not erase the sins and mistakes,instead,it takes us deeper into a bottomless dungeon of despair.Philippians 3:13 urges us to forget what is behind and strain towards what is ahead.If God intended us to live lives full of worries,especially about our past,then He would not have sent His son Jesus Christ to die for our past sins and mistakes.Gods compassion and kindness are new each morning,and this only means that each day we have a place to surrender our mistakes,sins,imperfections,and WORRIES.The best thing about this kind of surrender is that we are forgiven,freed,and declared not guilty by our heavenly father.We really dont need to carry the baggage from our past anymore after being freed by the Creator of Heaven and earth.
