Worship doesn’t keep score. We think because of how we lead - TopicsExpress

Worship doesn’t keep score. We think because of how we lead worship yesterday, God cannot use us today. Or we think that He cannot use us because we are messed up people. This could not be further from the truth. There is nothing we can do to earn God’s grace and nothing we could do on our own apart from Him. There is nothing we can prove to God of our worthiness, when He has already made us worthy through Christ. My mentor, Buddy, has always said: holiness is not what God wants from you. Holiness is what God wants for you. There is a difference. No matter how we lead a service, if we think we are “prayed-up” or “worthied-up,” worship still belongs to God and is for God. Our efforts matter, but worship does not depend on them. He uses us inspite of ourselves. Which is why I say that worship does not keep score, neither does God hold up a score card. #BranonDempsey | #WorshipTeamTraining branon Dempsey @WorshipTeamTraining LIKE & SHARE #WTTWorshipPost Enjoy these tips, want more?
