Worth reading... Pius Adesanmi Wrote: I am no longer enjoying what is going on with/around Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. I hope folks are following the unraveling of that shoddy budget she carried her gele to go and present at the National Assembly. I was only just getting over Dele Momodus caustic review of that budget. Now, even Societe Generale Bank-Robber, Bukola Saraki, is digusted by the degree of robbery in the budget. Its a sad day for Nigeria, a sad day for the world, when Bukola Saraki examines a document supervised by Okonjo Iweala and is disgusted by the scale of corruption in it. You have folks proposing to buy a desktop computer for $12,000! And another ministry in the same government wants to buy it for $6000! Okonjo Iweala could not ask her aides to google Bestbuy? How does somebody move from a narrow miss of the Presidency of the World Bank to supervising import waiver scams on Korans, Bibles, and furniturein the Third World? With which mouth is she going to tell her community in Bretton Woods and the global financial community that she is now supervising the purchase of a single desktop computer unit at $12,000? I am always exceedingly glad on those rare occasions when a corruption scandal brings about the downfall of a Nigerian politician. Another corrupt buffoon bites the dust. However, this personal rule of rejoicing does not apply to our of best minds, our best contributions to world technocracy. I dont like it when they join the system and it rubbishes them and their towering status. By the time this system is done with Ngozi, even her constituency in Bretton Woods may find her too toxic to embrace. She never should have come to join these people in Abuja.
