Would all those contesting Crown this weekend please bring a list shield. I am intending to communicate the pairings to the heralds via the list tree (as we did last November Crown), instead of by frantically illegible scribblings. This will benefit the fighters as they can easily see when they are up and against whom, and populace as well. It also makes the list run faster. Ideally the shields will have three small holes at the top. One at the centre, and two four inches (102mm) apart. (This is because at this stage it looks like Ill be using the beautiful new(ish) Stormhold tree,which has 2 hooks per shield, with the overflow on the old one, with one hook each.) They should be roughly 140mm wide and 190mm high. If you dont have time to make a spiffy permanent one, can I suggest printing out your device, and sticking it to some cardboard. I will bring some cardboard spares, but those who forget may find themselves represented by a cornflakes box.
