Would anyone be interested in an internet equivelent of a book - TopicsExpress

Would anyone be interested in an internet equivelent of a book club. Heres the Idea. Each week we pick a topic (physics, the ecosystem of african desert, modern art, really anything we would like to as a group know more about.) Then we do research individually and at the end of the week have a discussion about cool things that we found, things that interested us, what grossed us out. I mean the topics could be anything and decided after each weekly discussion. and the cool thing is that the reading is completely up to each person. It wouldnt all be the same book. which means everyone would have more to bring to the table. Anyone think this is a cool idea?
