Would like to have a meeting with all interested fishermen this, Friday 17th Oct, at the club, 19h00 to elect the Fishermen`s Committee representative for the 2014/15 financial year. The elected person will sit on the main committee and must attend at least 10 of the monthly meetings. Responsibilities include : 1) To Keep fishermen up to date with all legal changes, ( Licences, bag limits, fish sizes, no go areas, ex ) 2) To initiate and Drive fishing competition`s ( We need at least 4 per year ( Stock fish Derby included) , 3) Negotiate with major sponsors and acquire sponsors for the fishing competitions, 4) Assist in mobilizing the fishermen to help with the Duck pond cleanup, with the help of the divers, 5) Assist in mobilizing members/fishermen to help with maintenance of the slipway .
