Would like to thank Southern Obedience Dog Club for a wonderful night last night. Noel and I went along to their 2014 Presentation night had a wonderful meal with some great people. Was a very successful year for myself and the dogs. I had trained up 4 dogs over the past 3 years in various disciplines and this year saw the rewards in more ways than one. All trialled bar Finda who decided to come into season when she was due to debut into tracking, however we bred her and she has presented us with a lovely litter that will be the next generation in training for the future. Ranger - achieved his TD and HT Trophies, Angel achieved her RN and TD Trophies and Shadow achieved his RN, HT, PT, HSAs, TDX and TCH Trophies. These are just so lovely especially the Tracking Champion Silver plate embossed in Black writing. A beautiful keepsake. Thankyou so much to all the instructors that have helped me along the way in the various disciplines, not only for you instruction but for your time given. Also thankyou to all those that run trials so people like myself can compete. A special Thank you to Birdie Carlson for getting me started in Tracking with Thunder and Lightning back in 2001. It was so wonderful last night knowing I had started with Thunder those years ago to have his sons and daughters achieve last night. There was also Yvonne Hill , and her boy (Thunders Smooth son) Trooper - Brafferton Bush Master, who was unable to make it last night and they also achieved a TD Trophy (Yvonne I have it here for you). Another of Thunders daughters was trialling during the year Esther Smedley s girl Navi - Brafferton Night Navigator who gained her HT, PT, HSAs, TDX and TCH as well. We may now see Thunders Grandchildren out and about in 2015. Was so very special to me to receive those last night. :) Also won one of the two door prizes and have a nice bottle of Red too :) Thankyou once again to everyone at Southern for a lovely night, hall and tables were very festive. :) I also have to have a special Thankyou to Janice Cook who back in 2010 leased me the lovely Minnie - Ch Foxbell Miss Finland who is the Mother of all these achievers. Without that happening none of this would be happening. :) This was the beginning of Brafferton Collies - Rough and Smooth. :)
