Would this synopsis make you want to read the book? If supernatural beings like Faeries and Werewolves and Witches were real, how do they go about dealing with the minutia of daily, human life? How, for example, would a vampire go about getting a passport when his birth certificate is hundreds of years old? It wasnt a question that 26 year old Gillian Burke expected to ask, let alone answer, until the day she became executive assistant for a devastatingly handsome, charming, and millennial-old angel at a foundation whose mission statement is less about profit shares and more about managing the population of supernatural creatures that roam the earth. Before long Gillian is handling paperwork for creatures she thought only existed in fairy tales and dealing with the burgeoning and undeniable attraction between herself and her angelic boss, Michael. To top it off, a threat soon arises that pits her and her new co-workers against ancient and evil forces who are out to destroy the Foundation and everything it stands for. Gillian thought her only problem in her new career would be the occasional typo, but now she finds herself not only fighting for her own life, but for the fate of the entire world. Will she survive? Will she and Michael find a way to be together? Or will Gillian be dead before she gets her first paycheck?
