Would you be interested in taking part in a type 2 diabetes research study? We are taking part in a research study looking at the effectiveness and safety of a new investigational drug for treating high blood sugar also known as Type 2 Diabetes. If you are age 18 or over with high blood sugar and have been taking only Metformin for the past 12 weeks or more - you may be eligible to participate. The study will last for up to 43 weeks, during which time you will see the study doctor and/or nurse about 10 times. You will receive, at no cost, study drug and a physical examination, including laboratory work. Compensation may also be provided for time and travel.
