Office dog Betty came from Many Tears Animal Rescue and part of their adoption procedure meant agreeing to have her spayed before she was six months old unless there was a sound veterinary reason not to. When we mentioned this on social media there was a massive response with lots of different opinions, so wed thought wed cover this in the magazine to help others decide when is the right time and why.
