Wow! 2014 has been quite a year for me! So much has happened and so much has changed this year. Iv definitely grown a lot and learned a lot more about myself and life The negatives: lost some family members, realized that someone I thought I was close to turned out to be not what it seemed, watched many people who I care about leave, suffered a little GPA wise, stupid arguments and fights, failed Organic Chem. But the positives deffinitly were in my favor this year: enjoyed many fun times with friends new and old, made new friends who I cant wait to enjoy the new year with, turned 21, had an amazing glow party, enjoyed many social gatherings to enjoy my life and laugh and to have fun memories, celebrated my friend Peytons 21st, worked with a church group on THE END IT MOVEMENT, experienced my first trip to the horse races and won money, watched my BFF/pledge bro matt turn 21, watched my friend Kyrah turn 21, had some great mixers with Alpha Sigma Alpha and Sigma Sigma Sigma :), won Fraternity of the Year, won Greek Week, won the 2014 Step Show, personally won UAMs first Greek of the Year, did community service and philanthropy to help out the world, watched my friends Bonnie and Vincent join Zeta Phi Beta and Kappa Alpha Psi and watch them grow as greeks, hosted 2 amazing formals, watched my cousins Bailey and Alyson graduate college, experienced the full effect of river fest 2014 and had that amazing weekend, hosted my first brotherhood retreat, celebrated my best friend Jessicas 21st birthday, enjoyed many fun summer outings and nights of fun, attended an amazing national confrence where I got to meet new brothers and learn a lot and explore a new state, got to watch another friend (Samantha) turn the big 2-1, got a job as a student worker for Student Programs and Activities and work with my amazing boss Rebecca, joined Student Activites Board, joined biology club, got elected VP of UAMs Interfraternity Council, joined Student Government Assosiation and got my dysfunctional family, helped train the amazing Allson the ways of social chair lol, attended a college programs conference in Chicago, had my first successful Halloween in many years, planed new things for students to get involved in on my campus, got to celebrate Dr. Lassiters last semester as our chanslor of UAM, switched majors so I can graduate early, figured out my career choice in life, decided to go on to graduate school, survived another 2 finals weeks, got to experience Garvin Gardens Christmas Lights, experienced my first Miller Christmas, got a lot of new stuff for Christmas, attended my first Officer Training Seminar and learned a lot and meet new brothers of my organization And my last possitive thing on the last day of 2014 - embrace the future and let go of the past I cant wait to see what 2015 has in store for me but Im so blessed to have these people in my life and Im thankful to have gone through what I did to get to this point in life! Thanks for making my 2014 amazing and I love yall and lets start off 2015 right! Happy New Years!!
