Wow! 2015 is off to a great start. This last run started in front of an enthusiastic capacity audience in Southern California on New Years Eve in Temecula CA at Pechanga Resort/Casino. I rang in the New Year with my wife Jacquelyne, close friends, bandmates and our extended Stamos family. The king of the surf guitar David Marks joined us as we celebrated the New Year. Stamos was in great form as usual. From there we made a quick stop in beautiful Tucson, AZ at a newly refurbished arena, the Tucson Convention Center, to an audience of 5000 before heading to sunny and much warmer Florida. We started in Naples, FL being backed by a magnificent orchestra. Any time weve played with a symphony its been magic and that night was no exception. My most cherished part of playing with a symphony is the fact that it gives an opportunity to dive a bit deeper into the catalog like “Here Today” and “You Still Believe in Me”. From there we played in Sarasota and then Clearwater. A few old friends dropped by including our engineer extraordinaire Steve Desper and a real treat for me Prudence Farrow Brun. We spent time in India together in 1968 during a teachers training course with the Maharishi. Crossing the state we played at the beautiful Kravis Center in Palm Beach, then up to Fort Pierce and finally Cape Canaveral, actually Port Canaveral in front of their new exploration tower. The audience came with partying on their minds. I must admit that despite the welcomed enthusiasm, I was choked up a few times as I read the sign of a young woman which read, I battled cancer to be here tonight. This was overwhelming and I just want to say Thank You to this brave woman for choosing to spend your time with us! I am truly honored...Dont give up, keep on dancin’! All of the above shows were sold out which humbles me beyond words. Im off for a few days before bringing some California Dreamin’ to Niagara Falls next weekend, hopefully without a cold!
